Introduction

We implement effective systems and controls to safeguard against modern slavery.

We implement our business strategy in an ethically, socially, and environmentally responsible manner.

Our Commitment to Human Rights

We fully acknowledge our responsibility to respect human rights, as outlined in the International Bill of Human Rights (IBHR) and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. We ensure that these values are embedded into our internal policies and supply chain.

Reporting & Communication

We welcome concerns from employees, clients, or the public. Any suspicion of modern slavery within our operations or supply chain can be reported in confidence. Anonymous reports are accepted but may limit the effectiveness of investigations.

Working with Suppliers

We conduct due diligence on all new suppliers. All supplier contracts include clauses on modern slavery compliance. Suppliers must confirm that:

  • They meet or exceed minimum wage laws (UK and internationally)
  • There is no child labour, unsafe conditions, or excessive working hours

We reserve the right to terminate contracts if modern slavery is identified.

Risk Assessment

Our supply chain includes the procurement of staff and consumables. Risk assessments are conducted, and ongoing training is provided to ensure staff understand how to:

  • Identify signs of modern slavery
  • Follow appropriate safeguarding procedures

Performance Indicators

We will measure effectiveness by monitoring:

  • Reports from staff, the public, law enforcement, or safeguarding teams
  • Internal audit findings

Safeguards

We support anyone who raises a genuine concern in good faith. No one will face retaliation for reporting suspected modern slavery.

However, malicious or false claims may result in disciplinary action.

Responsibilities

  • The Director holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring this policy is implemented
  • All managers are responsible for training and ensuring compliance among their teams
  • Ongoing audits will assess the effectiveness of our approach
